I must be crazy. Does anyone know what this hose is for? I was taking out my filters and found this in the right intake box??? I can't see how this would have gotten sucked up from the highway.

 

Make sure it wasn't sucked up from your own engine bay.

 

^haha I looked everywhere for 20 minutes!! I can't see anywhere where this would go or where a heater hose is missing. Car isn't throwing any lights either.

I think this is one of the heater hoses that was on the evap canister when I relocated it when installing the evoTT. I have all my oem stuff thrown in a corner in the garage, along with my stock intakes. I took off the JWTs to go back to stock and maybe one of the hoses fell into the intakes.

 

any reason your going back to stock from the Pop Chargers?

 

haha... i once found a block of styrofoam a size of my fist a month after i bought my car new from the dealership

 

Needed the cash quick for something else for the car, plus a friend of mine really wanted them and helped him out.

 

That looks like the vacuum hose from the upper plenum to the battery box... check to see if it's missing. Sounds like if the plenum has ever been removed for service, that hose was tossed into the air box and they forgot about it before they put everything back together.
