so a g35 is the cheapest way to go for a decent lsd in my 07 base?

correct?

ebay has some helical lsds for around $500ish, should i just bite the bullet and do something like that?

I mean honestly in my own opinion it has to depend on the type of driving you're doing. If your car is meant to just be driven daily/normally and you might occasionally "hit the track" youre fine with your VLSD [assuming you have an enthusiast or higher] with regular diff fluid changes.

If youre gunna fork out money for a diff though, I'd personally go clutch type for the kind of driving I do and theyre really not that expensive both West Convia and Performance Nissan [a month or two ago] had the nismo 1.5 way on sale for something along the 700-800 range before shipping and tax? Not quite sure on the numbers

But to answer your question directly, I'd personally pass on the helical type lsd and go straight for clutch type

thanks man! is the nissan 1.5 way still very daily driveable? i had it in my old s13, but don't really remember how it felt on the street.

i believe that the concensus is Quaife for street/track
helical in most us cars

andy@performancenissan is having a crazy deal going on with the nismo full pumpkin for 750 shipped. I wish I would have saw that, I swapped in a vlsd pumpkin into my base i'll upgrade later.
