Why would you still need the GTM ECU Reflash when you are going to have the HKS FCON Vpro? I thought this standalone EMS can do everyghing?
What would the GTM reflash do by the way? Sorry, I am just trying to learn more about engine tuning.

I gave my cams to Sam at GTM early 07 and he developed several different levels of cams for the HR. They were released mid 07. I would call GTM for more info or do a search. I thought GTM had a thread about their cam options.

I believe it removes to rev limiter, top end speed cap, and i believe something to do with keeping certain cel codes from triggering. Sharif or GTM could answer for sure.

The rev limiter on RevUp and newer VQ engines is controlled by drive-by-wire. None of the currently available Engine Management Systems interface directly with the drive-by-wire system.

It's why people like me have a Haltech and Osiris...

answer is money + quality parts + quality shop = X determining factor on how long the car last.

OR read this thread on things to consider before modding which is a great read https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/360064-forced-induction-for-noobs.html

i started a thread not to long ago and im supprised this hasn't been asked yet in this thread but what type of clutch are people going to use for this kit and other tt kits. that would be nice if exedy had one of there multi plate clutches out but i dont think they or anybody else does yet.

i dont think im the only one here that thinks this but i would like to have a clutch in there that can handle a lot of horse power not something thats rated at around 500 like the JWT. i dont want to push it to its limits therefor that just sounds like a waste of money for people that plan on going forced induction. thanks
