I did some research but still have some questions if nobody minds
Hi,
I have a few questions to ask if thats ok. After doing some research and reading the cobb tuning document as well as the articles on the new Injen track edition full cold air intakes, it would seem to me that the decision too buy the nismo cold air intakes was a very bad idea. If i am understanding all these articles correctly then they actually cause a loss in power but it is still a minimal loss. So i guess my question here is this, i already have the nismo exhaust and plan on getting a set of berk high flow cats, so would it be wise to leave the nismo intakes on, replace them with the recently released injen setup (although i did read the articles on g37 forums that they only dyno at 4 hp) or just go back too the stock set-up and get some k&n drop ins? Also, lastely i was curious about something i always understood that the big difference among the k&n set up and a regular filter was the shape as well as the material its made out of. Bearing this in mind would replacing the crappy nismo paper filters with something like a K&n cone be a way to correct this performance problem or just another waste of money? Thank you so much for taking the time too read and i hope if it is not too much trouble i can get some feedback on this problem.
Regards, kaylin

If you already have them and aren't strapped for cash I'd leave them on. So what even if you just maintain the stock HP or lose 1 or 2 with them on it still looks nice and sounds good.
