Default Stillen Supercharger Question

I have an 07 Z. I was at my local nissan dealer getting the oil changed and the service manager comes over and talks to me about my z. He basically tells me that they are an authorized Stillen dealer and that i can put a Stillen Supercharger on my 07 z. He even tells me that they are made for the 03-06 but they can make "modifications" to fit the dual intake on the 07. My question is, is this possible? To fit a stillen supercharger(with "some modification) from an 03-06 on an 07-08 z?

edit: i read this thread before and couldnt find the answer

no way... i would call stillen and ask, and the general consensus here is that it is not a good setup due to high cost and low power.

If you can get them to put that in writing and the price is not ridiculous, why not? That is if you can live without your Z for a while...

Get it in "Writing" that they can make it work and if they **** up make them pay for it. The STillen supercharger gives the VQ the much needed torque it needs

Most likely, the service manager doesn't know what he's talking about. Call Stillen if you want to verify: http://www.stillen.com/page.asp?contactus

Anything is possible but its going to cost ya!

First the elbow on the rear of the blower would have to be modified for dual intakes, not too complicated b/c that piece simply bolts on to the blower and can be removed.

Then you would need some sort of engine management since the split second box comes pretuned for 03-06 engines only (unless Stillen tunes it for ya in shop.)

This is all assuming that the new lower plenum for the Stillen s/c bolts up in the same locations as the 03-06, not sure?

But the biggest problem I see is the lower accessory pulley (maybe called something else?), its the large one above the crank pulley on the 03-06, didn't they remove that on the 07's? Reason this is a problem is b/c with the Stillen kit that pulley gets replaced with a larger one that attaches another belt to it which travels upward and spins the blower.

If you can get around all that then sure do it but I think you should just go for a Nitrous or TT setup, you will end up spending just as much and make less power with the Stillen kit.

That would look bada$$!!! But yeah, i agree, sounds shady to me. Stillen is a very safe setup. I wouldn't let someone other then them mess with the computer.

considering a bolt on + tune hr can make as much power as a stillen with all the bells and whistles, putting a stillen on an hr would be pretty useless

What you just said makes no sense you are comparing an HR to a DE motor???

Point is the HR stock makes more power then the DE stock.

It would be different if you had said that bolt ons on an hr make more power then a Stillen s/c on an HR but considering no one has done it im guessing you have no clue on what your talking about.

He wants to add the Stillen s/c on an HR, it should make more power then with bolt ons if you can get around everything I mentioned above.
