Same here, I shift at 3k, get decent mileage (not sure what MPG exactly, but at half a tank I was at ~160 miles on my trip computer)

I consistently get between 24 and 25 mpg in town, and I also noted that the trip computer calculator is very close to my calculations. I've noticed the mpg somewhat tracks the average speed; when it's around 30 mph, I get around 24 mpg, and when it's higher, I get around 25mpg. I usually shift between 2000 and 2500 most of the time. On my only trip in the car, I got 27 mpg doing between 75 and 80 most of the way.

ive experimented with this topic before.

during good weather in Chicago, driving 58-60MPH on the highway and shifting around 2000rpm and not exceeding 45mph in the city, i HAVE gotten 410 miles to a full tank. Some claim to have gotten 450 but they live in TX and CA where they claim the weather makes a diff(not sure how).

Ha, ha, you suck. I get 56 mpg driving 25 mph over the speed limit, consistently. I run red lights, drag race Mustangs, and drive w/my HUGE ***** hanging out over the doorsill so the other scumbags can be jealous! I am so cool I make myself cold! My dick is so big it makes it's own weather! YOU SUCK!

I don't care. When I ***** the car I shift at 2500. I have my shift light set at that for ***** driving.. But I don't like it.

How the hell can we get 36.5 mpg on the highway? It's like you reset the meter and coasted in neutral for 15-20 seconds Seriously wtfbbq, I MAX out at 27.6 mpg on the highway (3 hr drive to NJ)

I've been shifting like a grandma lately and getting about 22 in the city. I've become more aware of how much I spend on gas and I just got a ticket so I'm going to cool it a bit to see how much gas I can save.

But then again I just installed the Injen intakes so I really want to step on it and hear growl
