Default Can a 2007 350z intake fit with a 2007 g35 intake?

Hi,

I recently just joined the forums and im looking into getting into a 07 Z or a 07 G sedan. I was curious if I get an aftermarket intake, like stillen, nismo, fujita, for the Z, will it fit and be the same as putting it into the 07 G sedan, since they have the same engine (VQ35HR)? Appreciate it, thanks!

most likely depends on the intakes, yes the engines are the same, but the chassis they sit in are vastly different. If you find intakes that don't bolt anywhere to the chassis, then you are probably good.

I was planning on getting a fujita intake on craigslist for the 2007 350z. Im getting it for my cousin for his birthday, since he has a 2007 g35 sedan. So I was curious if the installation and everything wil be the same since it has the same engine.

If the intakes say "fits 350z, G35" then you are golden other wise I say no. The answer you seek can be found @ the manufacturer's website. When In doubt go to the source...

I think it will since it's a short ram intake and the engine is the same. if it was a CAI it would be a different story

Yeah, the Fujita is the dual short ram. On the website, there is a nissan and infiniti section, which can be seen here:

They have pics and everything too. Im probably going to give them a call tomorrow to confirm if it will fit. I hope they are sure with their answer because I dont want to buy it and then it doesnt work, etc.

It should fit since they are the same engine and its a short ram, but yet im not sure about it. I noticed on the dyno pics that the 2007 Z is putting out more power with intake than the 2007 G35 sedan.
