Talking Injen SES on my '08 HR

Just got back from having DaveSkee's Injen SES dual exhaust onto my '08 base MT. I love it! Car sounds so much better now. I knew I wanted a true dual, and I got one hell of a deal from Dave. Dave is the man. Next up, Injen Dual CAI. Made love for the HR...

Anyone who posts a "my exhaust sounds great" thread without sound clips should be banned.

Congrats though! - glad you like it.

PM me... I can shrink it for you in photoshop

How does your low end torque feel rite now ? Do you feel any loss of power down low?

Car feels excellent. Not sure if it quantifiably is, but it does seem to rev a little easier and quicker. Again, not able to quantify this, but the butt dyno has confirmed. I mean, to a degree exhausts are exhausts, the only question was single-path or dual. The right decision was made. Exhaust + install for 600. Exhaust was used for less than 3 months, and the pics I took prove it. Real high quality piece, good clean welds, real beastly sound. No, I do not have any sound clips, my bad. You still gonna try and ban me.

Default True true

Yeah, you're right about droppin' a G only to hear the difference, and not feel it. I will say this though, I've gone through 5 performance exhausts across a '90 300ZX TT, '02 RSX-S, and my new Z, and they are all about the same end effect - louder sound = less gettin' on it, but free-flowing top end vs. stock POS means that it probably balances out mpg-wise. I'm not on pace to increase my mpg, but i have been driving with less throttle on the streets and more on the highway. Power-wise, I can feel that the car has more power above 4K or 5K rpm. I highly recommend this product, there is nothing dissatisfying about it. It sounds nothing like a honda motor with a fat canister at the end, which is excellent b/c I hate that sound with an angry passion. Buy this exhaust with the Ti tips, and you'd probably love it more than my model, but for $600 installed...what a deal...
