HR thermostat is different from the DE - not sure if they are backwards compatible
I've never seen one for the HR

Default Its a Nismo Part

I wouldn't worry about not working correctly, I doubt Nissan will sell you a part that they haven't tested thouroughly on the model its for sale on.

And i see it for sale on NISSAN 350Z 2003-2007

these things really dont do anything other then delay your car from getting up to max temp a bit slower. save your time and money for other mods.

I agree there isn't a gain in tangible performance, but if you have to replace it I say this version will be fine.

http://www.nismo.co.jp/products/comp...hermostat.html

it is only listed for VQ35DE (2003-2006), not HR (2007 +)

Good point Z-1,

The site I pulled it from included the 2007 models but others are different. Bottom line... its not worth the risk, I would replace it with a stock part.
