Sorry guys, I thought I updated this but aparently not.
All the pieces for the prototype were "formed" and I was supposed to bring the car to the engineer Friday to test the fitment before he welds all the formed pieces together. Unfortunately I had some unexpected business to deal with Friday and was unable to get up there.
Sorry guys, this delay was my fault, not S&R's. Had I known the issues that would have prevented me from getting the car up there Friday I could have told S&R to call someone else that has an HR motor. Unfortunately, I dropped the ball here.
Hopefully I can get up there Tuesday (Monday's are just too busy for me) or so. Maybe I can snap some pics of the pieces so at least everyone will have something to look at till it is welded together.
Update from the SG thread: 90mm TB with custom intake manifold made zero gains on a revup DE. I only bring this up since the HR shares a similar cam profile to the rev-up.
so i guess our stock mani was built perfectly and doesnt need to be modified.
It's not at all a conclusive result, but the HRs dual TBs have a slightly larger flow area than the single stock DE. If the recent findings about the Revup says anything, it's that there may potentially be very little to gain via larger TBs and larger plenum volume on an otherwise stock head and valvetrain.
The plenum cover on the DE doesn't include the runners, so there is still hope that we can gain something from modified runners. One thing for certain, however, is that when upgrading cams, a properly designed and matched intake manifold is critical in making power.
hay guyz, it's Friday update day! I have taken up building a custom manifold in my bedroom. I fashioned it out of some pieces of 1" square tubing, drilled 2 holes, and am in the process of JB Welding it together... oh wait, my bad, that's my camera mount...

As long as it's made from plastic, I want it. I hope you charge alot , cause they say you get what you pay for.
It's Sunday. And I drove by and saw the manifold. It's awesome. It makes toast in the morning for you and tucks you in at night. All our dreams came true w/ this thing. My bros and I were like this the whole time:
