Default Need Expert Advice on Set-up

Hey guys need some fast advice as i am trying to get this project done. I have a 2007 Nismo with nismo intake and exhaust non s type. I have been looking at exhausts and have chosen the set up below but i cant get the motordyne TDX2 for 4 weeks acording to tony he is switching fabricators and cant get them to me for 4 weeks so I have 2 options and need to know what you think or will i be wasting money. The TDX2 pipes sound the best from all the othere i have heard.

set up 1 ( 4 weeks out )

Motordyne TDXT exhaust
Berk free flow test pipe
Injen short ram air intake
Dyno tune

set up 2 ( 1 week out )

HKS HIgh flow TI exhaust
Berk Free Flow test pipes
Fujika intake
dyno tune

Is this set up ok? i need some advice from proven trials, i wish the motordyne exhaust was instock heck i would pay extra but i need my ride done asap..

Thanks

I'd take number 1 of the two you mentioned.

Your selection of intakes are horrible, either go back to the factory units with k&N drop ins, or a true CAI setup.

is that your personnel opinion or do you have actual proof? just wondering as every post you respond to is negative!!!!! based on reviews and dyno sheets i have seen these two are pretty good MR NISMO

Shoot yourself, you'd just be wasting your money. Any short ram intakes for the HR don't add anything performance wise. So far, only CAI's actually add power. Try doing some searching, you'd be amazed at the info. you could find.

Not trying to be mean or anything but i agree with Nismo558 on this one, if you want proof just do some searching on the site, short ram intakes on the HR most of the time lose whp. I went with the Stillen Gen 3's personally because they had proven to yeild the most whp out of all the intakes. Out of the setups above i would go with number 1, but if i could make suggestions i would swap the Nismo intakes for Stillen gen 3's and i would swap the berk test pipes for Motordyne Art pipes. With Motordyne being sold out your best bet is a distributor, try B2auto designs. Just do some searching bud, Good Luck

K&N's are also a waste of money.

Just sayin...

If you go with either of those intakes its going to be your error!!! But hey man its your car and your choice but if your looking for gains it won't be with either one of those intakes! Go for a true CAI as stated or use the stock air boxs and save yourself the cash...

yeah...short rams arent so great. Go for the long tube injens or the Stillen v3's. Motordyne's exhausts are fantastic.

I would wait 4 weeks to get what I wanted, assuming you'll have your car a lot longer than that..... On the intakes, go long, or go K&N drop ins.

Not sure why you got flamed for this. Sounds like a legit question to me . I'd go with the first setup and keep the stock air boxes.

I'd wait. Get what you want and wouldn't regret later.

I agree with others regarding short ram intakes. Stock HR intakes are well designed for performance. Short ram intakes are just sucking hot air in general, which in terms harm the performance. Go with Stillen G3 or Injen dual cold air intakes if you want to see hp gains.

Do it right the first time. Good luck.
