Want 285WHP?...+25HP

Here's how I got it:

Osiris tune
Dual intakes (Nismo in my case)
Dual Exhaust 2 1/2" (Invidia in my case)
HFC/TP (FI Resonated HFC in my case)
BTW...
I don't understand how you can lose power with an exhaust.

going to a big 3" dual exhaust you loose alot of back pressure when theres not load (ie in the lower rpm's) so you loose a little torque, but gain flow in the higher rpm's when you need the increased flow capabilities of the larger diameter piping.

I went with HKS true dual, Stillen Gen 3 Long Tubes, Berk HFC and the JWT flywheel. Dyno'd stock at around 243 rwhp. Dyno'd after bolt ons, 273 I think? After tune I am at 292 RWHP. I did lose a lot of low end torque, but the high end and the throttle response after tune was like night and day driving the car. Just so worth it!

You can make up for any loss of low-end by going to the 4.083 gears. Win-win!

doesnt make up for the power loss, just feels faster since your going through the gears faster.

I've made 297whp on my current setup, I have dyno sheets to prove it. It's on my build thread in my sig.

True, gears are not a miracle cure. But they would work well in this situation.

Car's powerband has shifted up and he has noticed a drop in power on the low-end. Gears will mitigate the low-end loss & get him into the powerband more quickly. Plus, the HR's gears are kind of long to begin with.
