Default Fuel Injector OEM VS Aftermarket

Hi Guys,

My installer is telling me my fuel injectors are going to have issues because they don't have a retaining clip for the oring like the factory injectors. Makes sense to me. I emailed Deatschwerks about the concern to which they said:

"Hello Nick,

Thank you for the picture, that certainly helps.

The way the IM on the VQ35 is designed, the lower oring bottoms on the step in the intake. The lower retaining cap is not required for proper operation for the older blue injector that you have from us.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Kind Regards"

I trust my installer over the manufacturer but wanted to see if anyone else had pictures of their aftermarket injectors. This is for a 2005 Revup engine.

Thanks for any help!

deatchwerks injectors are drop in, you will need to put o rings on them as there are none on them in your pics, but they don't need clips. I think most people with aftermarket injectors don't have clips.
