Default 17s on the Esprit 350Z?

i was bored last nite so i decided to throw in the Best Motoring video with the "Tuned Z Faceoff" of course all the cars looking great, but i noticed when they showed the specs on Esprit's car...they showed 235/17 tires all the way around....Potenza RE555s, drooooooooooooool (is there anywhere we can get those tires in the US btw?) but is this true, the Esprit runs 17'' TE37s?? if so they look SICK on that car! for so long ive been wanting to run some 17'' aftermarket wheels, but wouldnt know how it would look. i guess lowered enough with the right kind of tire they can look great.

so are these 17'' wheels? its hard to tell, they look bigger in the pic.

you know what... you're right... i didn't notice that before (just watched the vid again to confirm)

from the pic I would've said they were 18s... but now that i look at it more carefully, they're really 17s with low profile tires (35/17s - which means they're reducing overall diameter)... the kit/springs also make the wheels look bigger too imo

nice observation

well im gonna think about going with a 17'' wheel setup, since im trying to loose weight in the Z, plus i like to be different. what offsets would i need for 8 or 8.5'' all the way around?

also need to know the offsets, they look more concave than +22, right? BTW that video is awesome.

An 8.5x17 with 25mm offset will work fine, should not have a problem finding one.

Lawn Dart, use a 255/40-17 or 245/40-17, you will get lower final drive ratio which = faster acceleration. We run a 245/40-17 Goodyear GSCS race tire on our T2 racecar
