Best BBK out there?
I was just wondering what was one of the best bbk's out there? Is the stoptech 14" kit really that good or is there something better out there? I'm starting to become more of a canyon person and I'm drifting away from the drag scene (at least with this car). Will a stoptech or rotora kit hold up to really hard canyon runs and occasional track sessions? Also is there a 15" bbk out there? Thanks.

Stop Tech 14.1" front and 12.9" Rear is the best way to go IMHO...
Especially if you are doing hard tracking...
Next would be 13" Front and 12.9" rear if you are doing mild tracking / auto x...
Endless has a 15" brake kit but that is overkill...

what about the evolution performance wilwood kit?
that's an awesome looking kit! I've been doing some research, and these guys have a following of extremely happy customers, whatever the car/kit.
Unless there some non-evident flaw I am missing, to me the 14" wilwood kit is definitely one of the best bang for the buck.

Jason, i thought stoptech sold "balanced" brake kits, why mix and match?
wilwood brakes seem to be the cheapest, but i haven't read about anyone using them for track use.. i know some people have used them a couple times for a track event, but it seems like most people who regularly auto-x, or go to roadcourses are using stoptech

Yes, very few track regularly the wilwood on their 350z...
but Brake Zone kits have been tracked extensively on other cars... S2000, M3 and NSX I think... and they performed flawlessly that I know of(haven't heard anything bad actually). Why should it be any different for 350z?

When you're considering a brake kit, you have to look at the whole package...the quality of the parts themselves, customer service, the engineering and testing that went into the system, the cost of replacement parts, available pad compounds, etc.
I'd beg to differ. The kits we sell for the 350Z are IDENTICAL to the kits that are used on professional race cars. The only difference by platform is the piston size for proper balance. We don't have race and street parts...they are all the same line of product. Bill Auberlin won World Challenge Touring Car last year on our 4 piston kit. http://www.stoptech.com/press_releases/laguna_wins.htm
There isn't another manufacturer out there that can make that claim. If you buy our 350Z kit, you will have a championship winning race part on your car that is fully streetable.
i'd only say stoptech is the best bang of the buck, but not the best bbk.
