Default BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2

Just got my Z out of winter storage. After changing the fluids and checking everything out... I have the Steel belts of my S03s wearing though the inside edge of my rears. TIME FOR NEW TIRES in a hurry.

Nobody in my area has anything in stock, so off I go to tirerack.com

I found BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2's at a great price and the reviews people posted were excellent. They are also about 40 - 50 a tire cheaper than the S03s. HAs anyone tried them on their Z yet?

Second question I have... What can the tire expersts tell me about my suspension / air pressure if the tread on the rears was still OK on the outer edge, completely bald and smooth across the center, and the steel belts showing on the inner edge?

Thanks a million guys!

The inner wear was caused by excessive camber (negative) in the rear.

With the Eibachs .. you will need a camber/toe kit ... visit iapdirect.com and look up the stuff they have for our car ... it works great.

Also, I am HIGHLY considering the KDW2s for my car as well .. they look great .. and I know others that love the KD and KDWs .... let me know what you buy and how it works out for you.

Just put tires these on last Thursday and amazed at the change in performance handling. Not noisy but wait till I get a few miles on them and we will see. Still need to get alignment checked and can/will post results but the way my roadster is handling right now its a secondary concern.

String you may want to ref. https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/108355-need-tire-recommendation-for-285x35x19-and-255x35x19.html

BTW Dr Bonz has same tires in route (see bottom of string) so you can get another opinion soon.

I have mine on order too w/ my new wheels. They seem like good bang for the buck.

After only a day of testing, these tires are superb - it's been raining like crazy and these tires didn't budge one bit... they look AWESOME and it seems like the grip is also great for the $$$... also, tire noise is greatly reduced from the narrower 17" Fuzions I was running before (which were also quiet - but now the noise is non-existent)
