wait, so you're running 9.5 in the front or 10.5 all around?

either way yes 285 will fit on a 10.5 just fine. but i'd recommend moving the front to a 255.

wow thats hard to believe that doesn't rub! and your inner fender liners are in on that setup and no rubbing anywhere?? i would have stock front arms though, for a while at least. how about 265/275 setup? or a 265 all around setup? or 265/35, 265/40? i just don't want to be rubbing whatsoever considering i will have stock front arms.

9.5 and 10.5 combo, if you must run a 285/40 out back you will need at least a 255/40 up front. Better yet and what i would do for the street 265/35 front and 285/35 rear.

I'm picking up some 18x9.75 wheels with 275/40/18 in the rear and 255/40/18 in the front. Is the tire sizes okay? Will I need to roll fenders? I was planning on doing lowering springs will I run into issues? Don't want to go too low just a inch or so.

im running 295/30/18 on my rear wheel 18x10.5 +15.
my question is, should i stick with that tire size or go with 285/35/18.
i have no rubbing issue with the current set up, just want to know which is better.

Front tire size?

295/35/18 makes more sense since its closer to stock size, but its not necessarily "better".

If you arent low and want tons of wheel gap, then 295/30 is better.

Default Will these fit properly? 18x9.5 (+15)

I'm thinking about changing my OEM rims (17x7.5+30 /17x8+33) to a set of VR G2's 18x9.5, +15 all round. I haven't lowered my car or anything, it's bone stock. The tires I have are 225/50/17 and 235/50/17. I'm thinking of running a square setup, 255/35/18.

Does anyone have any pics of how this setup would look? Will they fit properly without adjustments? Or would I have to change my suspensions. I'm a bit worried about the rims sticking out.

Yes it is, awesome. Thanks! Now deciding on the tire size. There's a person selling a brand new, unused set for $2500 (trying to knock off a few hundred) with +15mm offset. Is that too low? Will it push out too much?

That's a very common wheel setup. You won't have a problem and it won't stick out. I've had several sets of 18x9.5 +15 with no issues on 255/40/18.

Bump up to a 265/35 up front, then the 285 or 295/35 will be perfect out back. 285/35 up front will easily work on your wheels

255/35-18 and 350Z don't go together. 255/40 would a good choice , makes a great front tire, will work well all around.

save the 35 sidewall for 19'' or wide 18'' tires.

Refer to this thread if you want to go with a square setup (same size all around):

You should also read this post from our Top 100 FAQ that lists the commonly used size tires and wheels:
