Lol oh nice! TTW's did my tires. Heard they're great guys so I have an appointment for Monday to do alignment. I might have to call them back and see if they'll put a different pipe on there!

Cool, so you're in Ft Worth now? You should definitely come join us at the meet we're having in about 2 weeks.

I've never been there, but TTW has a great reputation around the DFW.

Default +10 vs +35 offset on 275/35/18 all around

Hi guys

I can't seem to find another thread with these options.
I'm looking at some weds tc105n and the two offset options
for the 18x9.5 are +10 and +35.

Running 275/35/18 all around what offset here would be a safer bet?

Thanks!

+10

Do a little more reading on how offsets work...

I'm 18x9.5 +25 with 275/35/18 all the way around with 15mm rear spacers.

Can you expand on your answer?

I'm aware that offset is the distance between hub and center line of rim.
From my limited offset knowledge, +10 pushes the rim out quite a bit more. Wouldn't the ideal be to go +35 and use spacers to push the wheel out to flush (that is if it isn't already)?
Also, would I have any concern about BBK clearance with a +10? (Stoptech 14").

This is an Evo forum but they do have concerns about the +10 sticking out

Its ideal to run proper offset (+10) and no spacer. Read more!

Those are the Evo owners with panties on. +10 for sure, 9.5 +35 is sunk on both cars.

Camber is everything when playing with the perfect offset. 9.5 +10 will require added camber with a 275/35 to clear the outer fender under compression. Some street guys care about running this much camber, some do not, then track guys will run even more camber and can run even more aggressive wheels.

-are you talking about when lowered? I'm still on stock suspension.
I'm running +20's at the moment. I figured that +10 would just mean that I'd push out another 10mm, however the tires aren't close to the outer fender.

I'm not too concerned about stance - these wheels are for the track only.

Well 9.5 +10 will rub at full travel without added camber on a 275/35. Lowered or not, on stock upper control arms it will rub at full travel. Added camber from an aftermarket control arm will be needed.

Sweet. Good to know and thanks for the advice.

What control arm do you run?

So far so good!! No issues with VDC and 275/35 rear and 245/40 front Nitto NT05. Maybe as the rears wear down... but hopefully not for a few years. I put 4,000 miles on the car in the last 4 years

They will fit fine, but you can run a lot wider tire, 265/35 minimum. I run a 285/35 up front on +20 and +15 (I have two wheel sets)

Will the +22et with the 10.5" give a nice poke?
