Default Black 350zs with BBKs

If anyone with a black 350 has upgraded their brakes and has some photos to share can you please post them?

Im trying to get as many photos of 350s with big brakes as possible before I make my selection.

Thanks!

Are you trying to make your decision of what color caliper to use or what company to go with? I would go on the fact of how good the brakes are and not how they look.

I will not be making my choice based solely on the photos posted here. Though I will be using them for reference. This post is not the first thing I did when I decided I was going to buy a BBK a few weeks ago.

"I would go on the fact of how good the brakes are and not how they look."

Performance is not the only factor I will be considering before I hand over the large amount of money required for a big brake kit. Looks, quality and price also factor into this decision.

Obviously performance is a major factor in chosing a BBK but I think you will find the performance difference between 'most' BBKs is negligible. Unless, of course, you own a 350z race car which is at the limit 100% of its life. I get my car worked on by a someone who owns/works on/manages a 350z race car which competes in production class events and even his stock Brembos hold up well after a few mods.

So, do you have any photos to post?

I understand what you are saying mchapman. When I said performance I meant quality, braking power, and reliability. Sorry if I came off as kinda a smartass. What modifications does your friends have the to stock brembos? If I got heavy into racing I was told by someone that the fronts are kinda inadequate and that the 14 inch stoptech with the stock brembos rears is an amazing setup. I don't have many pics but here is the 14inch stoptech drilled front and rear:

Do you think the stoptech 14inch front or the AP racing 14 inch front would be a better choise?

Cool, no probs mate.

I know he runs the Brembos with upgraded DBA rotors, race pads and Motul brake fluid but he might also be running upgraded lines and ducting. He's on holidays at the moment but I can double check when he gets back if you want.

Thanks for the pics guys.

thawk408,

Do you know whos car that is in the photo you posted.

His rotors seem to be different to all the normal kits running around. They look similar to Tarox rotors with many curved slots.
