OK, please do not bite my head off. I did search, but did not come up with what I was looking for.
I plan on installing (4) 18x9.5 wheels with an off-set of 25mm
I want to run 275/35 at all 4 corners.
My car is dropped 1 inch via Eibach springs. Is there going to be any sort of a clearance issue? I know people are doing this, even with as big as 285/30 tires. I just wanna make sure with this setup that I will be ok. I dont want to order something and it not fit.
Thanks for all the useful advise. If you have nothing useful to say please do not waste the space of posting on here.
Thank you again
John

I think front may rub and you may have issue with ABS, VDC, TCS.
Z's are made where front wheels have less diameter than rear so if you use all same size tire, you may have to deactivate ABS, VDC, TCS.

From what I have been told and read the only system that would have a problem with same size tires would be the VDC, which I do not have.
I am running 255/35R19 tires in the front with 300mm off-set wheels right now and have room if that is any help.

Thanks for the link also. This is what I got from it.
I for one am not a big fan of staggered setups. I don't like understeer and that is what staggered setups promote. If you want front grip get some wide tires in the front. There is nothing wrong with running the same size wheels and offset all around on the Z. A lot of people do it but you will run into problems with VDC.

my search found the often quoted sport compact magazine article.
http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0404scc_350z/
to excerpt the part of interest to your question about 18 9.5 +25 with 275's
"...everyone else recommends a staggered tire setup for the Z with 18x9.5-inch 25mm-offset rears... First we tried simply using the rear size at both ends, thinking a 5mm difference from our ideal offset wasn't enough to worry about. Turns out it was. With a 25mm offset, the front tires bug out of the wheel wells like some kind of autocross freakshow and rub on the fenders on big bumps"
however, they used 40 series tires, and your proposing 35 series, which may help rubbing but doesnt help the "freakshow" look comment. they were not lowered, and you have 1" eibach drop. if i was to guess, you are going to rub.
ALSO
as above, TCS/VDC will be unhappy, which you say you dont have, good.
and a 275/35/18 is a full inch less diameter than the stock 245/45/18. the difference in rolling circumference will throw off your speedo.
hope that helps in your decision making, good luck

275 35 18 on the front is beautiful...
with the same size in the rear you will also have better acceleration... it will be like putting in a taller final drive gear...
i have 265/35/18 up front currently... next im going 275/35/18 & 315/35/17
and yes... 17 in the rear... that isnt an errror...
I may do 285/30/18 up front if I can find a good rim front and rear ...

Thanks for the info Jason. After doing a little searching around today I have found that 18x9.5 with a 25mm off set would most likely stick out to far (as with what they tried in the article)
I found the off-sets they were using on Project 350Z. 42mm front with a 12mm spacer which would =30mm (am I right on this)? 25mm off-set in the rear.
I am going to try my rear 19x9 with 30mm off-set and 275/35R19 on the front and see if they work, if they do I may just stay with 19's and go 19x9 (30mm) and 275/30R19 all around.
If the 30mm off-set works, should I go with some 9.5 rear Nismo's all the way around? Let me know what you all think.
Also running same size at all 4 would not do anything to bother with the TCS just the VDC (which I do not have).
