To me “light weight” means forged. As weight goes down, prices go up. You're looking at about $2,000/4. If you what to play you have to pay.

One suitable alternative might be a wheel by SSR (about 18 pounds each).

I was looking into the Rota P45 and was quoted $850 (shipped) from Subydude.com. I eventually went with the 5Zigen FN01R-C in silver. I have to say that I think I made the better choice. I paid $1060.00 including tax. Good luck with your choice.

all your choices (RPF1, RP03, FN01RC) are excellent wheels, easy to obtain, and light for cast wheels. Cannot comment on Axis as we do not offer them

RP03 in 18x8.5, 18x9 920.5 and 21.25 lbs respectively)

clears BBK's

RPF1 are a bit lighter

18x8.5, 18x9.5, but offsets are not as aggressive (+30 front, - weighs 18.3 lbs, +15 or +38 rear, weighs 18.6 lbs each)

FN01RC - sorry I dont haev pics of the 18's on a customer car, but the front 18x8.5 +30) weighs 21.5 kbs, rear (18x9.5 +22) weighs 23.75 lbs

Also might want to look into the Privat Profil, as they are even less expensive (well under $1000 shipped for staggered 18's), and around the same weights as the FN01RC

Any questions, feel free to ask

Adam

I'm afraid losing 8 pounds as oppose to losing 4 pounds each on the rear wheel is not the same thing. If each of your rear wheels have 4 pounds of less weight to spin, it is much better then you losing 8 pounds. That's why people care so much about how much their wheels weigh, even if it is a difference of 2 pounds.

There are plenty of nice options out right now in 18". As onebadfyvo mentioned above we carry the Rota P45F and all my350z members can get them for $850 including free shipping (within the cont. us) The wheels are pretty light (21lbs 18x8.5 front and 22lbs 18x9.5 rear) Available in Bronze now and we also have a color group buy going with a few colors options that only need 2 or 3 more people more on the list to make the order happen.

Here are a few shots of the Staggered setup from one of our customers (***)

And a shot of the 18x9.5 wheel all around (ep3)

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions about this wheel.

Great options in 18's but how about light weight 20's (8.5" up to 10")?

$850 is a good price, just wish there was a bigger lip on the tires, specially on the back.

lightweight and 20 inch do not go hand in hand.

Point well taken but the wheels are for an FX35 so light 20's are preferable.

all the more reason why it really would not apply at all. The size of the tire (and their weight), and the size/weight of the truck itself, would completely defeat the purpose of doing any sort of lightweight wheels on it IMHO. In other words, go for whatever the style/look you want

The Do-Luck Double Six is a beautiful and lightweight 18" wheel. One of my favorites.
