Default Thoughts on this wheel (iForged).....

OK, we have seen the nice pic of the iforged 19" aero FS 3 piece (or RS 2 piece) here.

well, I copied that picture and started to color around the edges to just get an idea what it would look without the bolts, my wife sort of laughs at me and leaves me alone. Well, I get home from work last night and my wife pulls me aside and brings me to the computer and says she wants to show me something. She photoshoped this to get an idea (usually I don't like the bolts around the outside, but I like them on the aeros, BUT I think I may like the simplicity of NO bolts)

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS???

I had to shrink the size so the site would allow for it, so take into consideration in REAL life these are the same size wheels.

I like the one bolted one better, but I would BUY the one with NO bolts!!! Boltless is much much easier to clean, and it looks, well....it looks clean!

Hey rodh - how did your visit to iforged go? Did they give you the warm and fuzzy. Does everthing seem to be up to snuff? Details, Pics. I would like to place an order by the end of this month with them (group buy), but want to make sure they are reputable.

Also, thanks for taking the lead, and visiting iforged for all the members that are considering these wheels. In my opinion, they are the best looking/quality for the money.

Personally, I like the rivits. In my opinion it looks more racey. I am probably going to go with the same set up as the Red Z that iforged did. I like the mesh look. Either way, rivits or not, you cant go wrong. The wheel is going to look hot on the 350z.

The place looks legit to me (I don't think they have 4 CNC machines and 2-3 lathes to invest in for NOTHING), I actually even ran some "errands" w/ Vince to his painters, he has a legit operation and everything looks good.

Something I thought was interesting, was that these wheels are CUSTOM to the way you want them-offset, color, finish, lip, rivots, etc....... these wheels are very similar to the HRE wheels for about 1/2 the $$$$. The wheels are forged, so they are very strong as well. I will try and post a few pics later.

Vince, I was looking at the PICS I took of the 3 faces of the Aero wheel that we laid out (Gunmetal, BLACK and Polished one), It looks like the spokes on the Polished and Gunmetal "BOWED" out more than the BLACK ones, is that something we need to specify when we order, or is that simply the difference between the wheels for teh Brembos and NON-Brembos

The black one was an 18" inch so it bows out in accordance with the size. That why they look different, otherwise they are all the same forgings.
