Default Nitto NeoGen's?

Anyone tried out these tires yet? I know the 555r is pretty good tire, but haven't heard anything about these new ones yet. They are priced right though and look pretty nice. I'm currently running s0-3 bridgestones and need 2 new fronts, so i'm thinking about trying these out and selling my close to new rear s0-3's. Also thinking about toyo t1-r's. What do you guys all think?

I have tried them when they first came out on my old Honda CRX. I have not tried them on my Z though. They are pretty good tires with good threadware, dry traction and wet traction. Just my opinion others might have different ones. I would buy a set for my Z but they don't have the size's I'm looking for.

But besides that tiny detail they are pretty good tires.

I noticed this on discounttiredirect too and did a search on this forum and found this thread...

I'm going to try to order the 275/35/19 size and see what happens. For the fronts, I'm buying Falkens ST115.

Default Nitto ZR tires

You are right about Nitto 555 not coming in sizes 225/50/17 or 235/50/17 however, I've been seriously considering Nitto for replacement rear tires and found that the Nitto NeoGenZR comes in 235/50/17 Zrated tire. I found them on Discounttiredirect.com as well as their own website. Have about a month before I decide weather or not to try the NeogenZR or stick with the stock potenzas.

Chris,
Have any input on these NeoGen's? I've had a hard time finding any reviews. Perhaps thats because they haven't been out long enough?

They've been out for about 2 years. They were targeted at lowered imports, i.e. Civics.. They have been very popular due to the resistance to camber wear on the inside edge..

According to an SCC article this month, same old compound as on the 555R, but better tread pattern I guess?

I put these on my friends slammed integra (mad negative camber) and they last twice as long as his old falkens. These tires are great if you're lowered and want your tires to last more than 15,000 miles.
