With my 275 40s in front however, I was limited on ride height. Im rethinking tires size. I'm thinking of going 265 35 front and 275 35 rear to help with the balance and give me more ride height adjustment. With 275s in front, is it due to the 30 series being the reason you are able to adjust your suspension? I have camber arms, but still had rubbing issues if I went too low...and it wasn't that low.
If you didn't feel unbalanced then it probably wasn't. And I agree - just throwing parts on the car is not the answer. It's getting the parts that you have to work together well, then if you realize that you need something else, that is the time to add it.

I am surprised that you had rubbing issues with your 275s in front. What width and offset wheels were you running? I have learned that offset is critical on these cars to use large tires. Too much positive offset and you'll rub the inside of the tire on the upright. Too little and you'll be rubbing the outside of the tire on inside of the fender.

I just ran 285/30-18s fronts this past weekend with no problems. But even another millimeter or two and I would have rubbing issues - it's that close. I ran 275/40-17s for a while with no problems at all.

I picked up some fairly wide SSR wheels (18x9 front, 18x10.5 rear), and I am thinking of running 275/35 front and 315/30 rears. But I need to see if my offsets are correct first.

It's always a work in progress...

It sure is! but it wouldn't be fun if once you built it, it was perfect Anyway I have the P45 Gloss Black with red lip offset +30 both front and back. Isn't that what you have? It did fit, I just wasn't used to the ride height, first off, without a rake from front to back and secondly the actual height of the car(there really wasn't any room for adjustment).
