Default New Rims/Tires equals new click sound?

I recently switched from my old 17in rims/tires to 2003 OEM 18in rims with stock potenzas.

Now whenever i engage first gear i hear a click. It def sounds like its coming from the wheel area. I checked the lugs and brake clearance and found nothing.

Anyone ever heard of something like this or experienced this problem?

Your input is appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like the Nissan TSB. You can have it fixed at the dealer.

Happended to my G35 coupe out of nowhere. They fixed it in short order at the dealer. It's the rear axle area.

I just replaced my Stock Potenza RE040's (225/45/18 245/45/18) with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's (245/40/18 275/40/18) and when I give the car some spirited braking I can hear a distinct click, maybe even a ping of sorts, when the cars weight shifts to the front. I'm baffled as well

I have recently noticed a clicking sound coming from the rear of the car too. I was thinking of bringing it into the dealer to have them check it out. I have an 05 Touring with 20K miles still on stock rims and tires. Is this a common occurance/issue?

ON the G35 Coupe it's a TSB. I brought mine to the dealer and they fixed it last year. Can't quite remember what it was, but something related to the rear axle. Took them maybe an hour to repair/replace.
