Did you not get the memo on the new cover sheets for your TPS reports?

Yes. You should have it if you have a Touring.

The 2004 Nissan 350Z is available in 6 models. 2004 Nissan 350Z, Enthusiast Model, Performance Model, Touring Model, Touring Model 6MT and the Track Model.

Standard features on all models include the 3.5-liter, 287-horsepower V6 engine, independent multi-link suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, strut tower bar, power windows, 3-bay gauge cluster, dual front air bags and more.

The Enthusiast Model adds xenon headlamps, universal garage door opener (UGDO), cruise control, Traction Control System (TCS), viscous limited-slip differential, aluminum pedals and auto dimming rear view mirror; Performance Model adds Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and 18-inch tires with aluminum wheels; Touring Model adds Bose audio system with 6CD, cassette with 7 speakers, leather seats with 4-way power passenger seat and heated seats and outside mirrors; Touring Model 6MT adds a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission; Track Model includes a close-ratio, 6-speed manual transmission, front and rear spoiler, forged aluminum wheels and Brembo brakes.

Hmm.. it is found by scrolling through that digital readout thingee.

Did you buy your car used or new? If bought used, it is totally possible the previous owner took them out. Maybe he sold an old set of tires on your Z with the TPS.

According to your profile:
Color:
daytona blue
Z/G Owner:
yes
Trim Level:
enthusiast
Location:
northridge

Do you have an Enthusiast or Touring model?

If you have a 2004 Enthusiast, then by Camaro194's post above, you do not have TPS.

Dont get pissy. You have Enthusiast in your profile, which is why highside107 pointed that out. If you have a TRUE touring model (leather, vcd, bose, etc), and it is a US spec car, you should have the TPMS.

You DO realize that if you're sitting in the garage, scrolling through, trying to find it, you may not recognize the screen b/c all you'll see is "- -", right? You have to be driving the car for the monitors to activate and transmit the pressures.

Excellent point! You need to drive around for a minute or two before the gauge will read something. Otherwise if the car is idle (on or off, doesn't matter), it's just going to read "---"

leykias - do you have AT or 6MT? If you have AT, then it came with 17" wheels and if I remember correctly, 17" wheels did not have TPMS.
