Default Falken Azenis Tyres

Has anyone ever had the Falken Azenis(I think that is correct spelling) tyres on their 350? If so how would you rate them on a scale of 1-10?

I have the RT-615s, and so do some of my friends. We run a lot of track days. They are some of the stickiest street tires you can buy. 10/10 for the track, 3/10 for treadwear/inclement weather.

I have them (RT-615). These tires are GOD. Cheap and grip like a ****. Ride quality is decent and niose levels are acceptable. I have 235/40-18 and 255/40-18 on Nismo rims and suspension/sways and I just can't get over how great it hooks up and handles. I have yet to find the limits of these tires on the street. I don't drive my Z in the rain, but i've heard they are ok with some tread on them in the wet, but once they start to wear, look out.

I had the 451's and they worked quiet well. They were pretty sticky and did well in the rain. However once they wear down a good bit they get loud...granted all tires get louder as they wear. I just got a set of 452's the other day and so far so good. They are quiet, grip well, corner well and ride well. I have yet to run them in the rain but by the looks of the tread pattern (slightly changed from the 451) I think they will do better. And hell...for $165 a tire for 275/40/18's you can't complain.

+1 for RT615. they're fricken awsome in dry weather, they hold their own in the wet.

at one of our HPDE, we started to have heavy raining. I was using my track tires, Eagle GS CS race tires. I wasnt going to let the rain take the fun out of it. I went back into the pits, swapped out my rims/tires for my streets (rt615) going over 120mph, cutting through puddles, minimal slip angles on the banks, and turns...yah, these tires hold their own.

someone told me these tires wouldnt last me 7k with the way I drive, its' been +15k, treads are still good, could go for another 5k or so.

and in my case, the nice thing about more grippy tires, you get better gas mileage out of them.

another vote for the 615's - I've got them on my car (switched from S203's) and they have been fantastic. Quieter than the S03, more grip and FAR more comfortable.

I use the 615's for summer/autoX/track, and the 512's for latefall/winter. I have been very happy with both.
