Default VDC BREAK and SLIP lights stay on!

Ok, so for some reasone, all of those lights stay on for me when i turn the car on even before it start moving. I even pulled the bettery + cable to erase the code. I put the cable back, started the car and they are still on. Checked the Fuse, and its fine. Tires are everything else is factory.
What could it be?

A better question is, what were you doing when they came on?

Take it to the dealer if it's still under warranty.

Check the brake fluid level. Check the brake pads.

I've seen people who have replaced their stock pads at 12K miles. I did mine at about 18K. I wouldn't be surprised if you need rotors too.

My car is getting hawk pads and ss lines tomorrow. First thing you see is the VDC and slip light come on but turn off. As the pads get worse those stay on. You might even see the emergency brake light in the gauge pod come on as you accelerate LOL, I have.

Time for a brake job. Nissan quoted me $500-600 for all four corners. Get the parts and do it yourself if you know how or take the parts to a shop. More performance for the buck.
