I dont think its a good idea at all. It doesn't look good and it doesn't improve handling.

You can put 18-inch wheels in front and 19 in back.
Hell if you want you can put 20-inch wheels in front and 17 in back.
Are you going to talk about it or do it!

On some cars, in some photos, with some wheels....the rear wheels appear to me as though they are smaller than the front wheels, when in fact the fronts and rears are the same diameter. I think the optical illusion is generated from the massive ***-end of the Z compared to the relatively 'skinny' front end when viewing the car's profile. So in that case, having an 18" front and 19" rear diameter will solve that optical illusion problem.

I don't see any reason not to do it. As one person mentioned the OEM Rays track/GT wheels for 2006 are staggered as such. Make sure you select tires such that the tire OD's are as close as possible to the OEM sizes.

Most people on here with aftermarket wheels have wider wheels in the rear, requiring wider tires accordingly. Therefore they have to buy two different tire sizes. In the typical case they are buying 2#5/##/18's both front and rear, but in your case you will buy 2#5/##/18 front and 2#5/##/19 rears. I don't see a problem, other than you will pay a bit more for 19" than 18" tires.

Go for it, be different, post pictures!

c5's had 17's front 18's rear, this I know for a fact as I had one. The c6 does the 18 front 19 rear I believe.

I should be ordering my wheels here in a month or 2.

I might do the 18 and 19
or i might just go all around 19's

Wheels im thinkin of getting
Volk Sf-Challanges
Volk LE37T
Work Meister S1
Volk GT-S

one of those set of wheels will go on my car.

it might be advantageous to do this in a region where there are a lot of potholes or horrible roads.. The 18's give a little more meat to protect the rim where it needs it most--in front.
