what spacers shoudl i get?
i have the track z. 2003. im am droping it soon on springs and shocks. tokico ajustables and h&r's. i am leaving the track stock wheels on the car. i want to bring the wheels out as far as possible. i know they have 25, 20, 15 and 5 mm spacers. not sure what will do the job. i really dont want to roll the fenders in the back. so im trying to get spacers that will just come out that far. im sure the springs are not that much of a drop. i think its like 1.2inch drop. i dont think there is a difference if i buy between ebiach, h&r. ichaban, or project kics spacers. unless you guys have your own opinion. i would like your input on this issue. also anybody out there have any deals on spacers? looking to get the shcoks soon too in the soming weeks. thank you

Its my understaning that they cut the section of the barrel behind the spokes and add in a section of metal there. That shouldn't change the position of the outer wheel surface once its bolted to the hub. There is one g35 owner that widened his 17" wheels to 10" and had to use spacers to push the wheel out further to get suspension clearance IIRC

i see your point. the thing is i dont want to buy aftermarket wheels. in the mean time beter tires and wider stance is what im looking for. plus other suspension stuff. so 20 front and 25 rear huh? any pics anybody has ?
I have H&R Trak+ hubcentric spacers -- 20mm in front & 25mm in rear. Here are pictures of my Z with stock rims & tires:

And yes, the spacers do widen your stance a bit and helps with your handling performance.

Don't make this too complicated. Spacers are for looks. If you want to move the front wheels 10 mm, and the rear 20 mm, just get the appropriate spacers. Who am I to tell you what looks best on your car.

the spacer will also depend on the tire size you use. I run a 255/40/18 and 265/40/18 setup and a 20mm spacer front will probably rub. On the rear the 25mm spacer is fine. I have seen it with a lowered car and the owner tells me it doesn't rub. when the suspension travels the wheel tucks inside the quarter panel.
