Tps?
I am getting ready to purchase a set of Factory 07 18" wheels for my 05 Z. Will my TPS fit into the 07 wheels?

so DIG does this mean that as long as i keep my sensors from my 05 wheels and put them in the 07 factory wheels everything will work fine? No trip to the dealer???

Yes, if you move your current sensors from your wheels to the new wheels, everything will work and you won't need to get the dealer to reprogram the system. Just make sure you keep the sensors on the same corners as before (i.e. front-left goes to new front-left).

No, there's no need to replace them. When you remove the nut from the stem on the outside of the wheel, the sensor falls into the wheel/tire. The O-ring will be stuck on the valve stem/sensor. Make sure the O-ring is clean before you stick it through the valve stem hole in the other wheel. That way you shouldn't have any problem with leaks.

Speaking of TPS, just wondering what the issue is with the valve stems not fitting into aftermarket wheels? Does it have to do with the location of the valve stem hole as in whether it's on the front and there's an obstruction that the nut won't fit down properly? Just curious because I'll be running into this on Saturday if my tires are here. I'm ready to band if necessary but still have my fingers crossed.

The valve stem comes out of the sensor body at an angle. It's made to complement the OEM configuration where the hole is in the part of the wheel that is slanted. If the hole in your new wheel is straight in from the side or straight down through the barrel of the wheel, there won't be enough room to clear. What kind of wheels are you mounting them in?
