Default Those who are running 245/35 & 275/30

For those of you who are running 245/35/19 and 275/30/19, Does your traction control go nuts?? I see alot of people run this.... Would it be safer to run 235/35/19 in front. According to the tire calculatorthey woould have exact tire sidewall height.

275/30/19 3.2" sidewall
235/35/19 3.2" sidewall
245/35/19 3.4" sidewall

The front tire is 6.50 mm taller than the rear. Not a good idea with VDC.

no one can tell you what the sidewall will be, since its a % of the tread width and not every 275 width tire has the same physical width to it

those running 245/35 front and 275/30 rear are running the wrong rear

So 235x35x19 F and 275x35x19 R is a good set-up? Dont most people do 245x35x19 F with 275x35x19 R?

245/35/19 and 275/35/19 is the correct choice, 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 IMO is an even better choice

I would definitely go with a wider front tire than narrower to reduce the understeer. I would go at most 30mm difference between front and rear tire width, although I prefer a smaller discrepency. The car seems to behave more neutral when the tires are more similar in width front and rear I have noticed.

Well, if I was buying the tires right now, I would do that for sure. The problem is that I am buying a set of rims with the 235/275 tire set-up already on and want to make sure they will be drivable and I dont have to replace them right away.

So I will have some understeer issues with this set-up, it sounds like.

yes, and the front tire is pretty short and not provide as much protection for the rim in the 235/35/19 size
