Default Overspray on volk te37 time attacks

Hi all,

I just got my te37 time attacks in today. They look awesome but I have a question. On the red lip part, when I look close, there is black overspray. You can see little black dots of black paint on the red basically. One wheel has a streak of black going through the red part . One of the front wheels, there is a patch of red that looks like the paint was not fully mixed. You can see a swirl of dark red and some lighter red.

Does anyone with time attacks have this problem? The seller told me to take pics and I could get a replacement. But I jsut want to know if I am jsut being too **** about some black overspray of if I really got screwed up rims.

High res pics here:

Thanks,
Chris

No way. Tell the seller about this, if not fixed, refund time. What are those knock offs or something?

Maybe they weren't originally time attacks and they had a body shop do it. That's some major QC problem coming out of Rays.

Yea i have some pics at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33858688@N00/

But my crappy camera cant pick up the overspray really well. I am going to have a buddy come over with a good cam and take some pics tomorrow. The wierd part is WHY would the black paint be on the red? I would they they paint the rim black FIRST then do the red lip?

I dont think they are knockoffs. I got them from a reputable dealer here and the stickers on the box and rims says they are te37 le fb/r. I am thinking the fb is flat black and the r is red, so i am pretty sure they are real.

Only problem is that I am guessing that I have to ship them back to cali?? And I wont have any wheels for my car. The seller is still waiting on some photos of the rims so I dunno what will happen.

I would try that touch up paint but i would have to paint almsot the entire red part again .

Just ask for an adjustment on what you paid for. Makes it easier for everybody.
