Default Do the fronts and backs have to be staggered?

I've finally found an aftermarket wheel that I'd want on my Z. It's the 5Zigen Hyper 5ZR model. Only problem is, the 18 inch wheel only comes in 18x7.5. I thought we always had to stagger the fronts and back on our particular vehicles using a larger wheel in the back. Can I buy these wheels or should I just look for another style that comes staggered?

thanks

You are speaking about the width of the wheel? No. You can put the same width all around. If fact, you can put wider wheels on the front if you want.

you do now want to put a 7.5 width wheel on your car. It will look like bicycle rims.

i run 18x8.5 all around with 245/45 all around. With my previously lowered suspension: VDC hated it on right hand turns. Now with a 2006 suspension, no problems.

Like the other guy said, get a width larger then 7.5. hell, i want a 9.5 on my rear!

Damn! I've been looking for a while and these were the only ones I really liked well enough to purchase. I'll look around and see if I can find a similar wheel in a wider size.

thanks guys!

Sorry if I am hijacking, but I had a few questions on topic with this thread.

Found out my 03 is enthusiast, no VDC (what is that exactly?) I am working on getting new rims if I can find some I can afford. I Noted the point to get something larger than 7.5 width.

CUxtopher - Will I have suspension problems if I do lowering springs only on a pair of 18" rims, something larger than 7.5 width? I am brand new to 350Zs and have the stock 17" rims for now.

If you REALLY REALLY want them, you could do a 18/19 setup.

If you really love the look of the rims, you can pay to have them widened. But it'll cost around $500 IIRC.
