Mine have a number on the key and I think there are several different numbers for different key locks. So Im not sure if you just buy a new set of lugs that the key that comes with them will match your current lug nuts.

most shops will be able to remove it for you, but they will have to destroy it. you can't just buy the locks by itself, you have to buy a new set.

on different sets i think the slot is in different positions

now that i think about it, all you'd have to do is get any new key and grind down the ridge that fits in the slot.... now i don't feel AS safe, but i park in the garage anyway

I have lost my wheel lock key twice. The first time i ordered a replacement from the people that sold me the wheels. It was a number 47 key. I did not know the number I just took a picture of the lug and they ordered me the correct key. In most cases those gator grip things will not work. If you have to force remove, which I have, you can hammer a 19 mm socket onto the lug with an 8lb hammer. Takes numerous good hits to drive the socket on there. I have done this since the second time i lost my wheel lock key, I decided not to replace it and just get rid of the wheel locks. It only takes 10 minutes or so to remove 2 wheel locks by hammering the socket on.

Gator grip = POS. Put any kind of force on those, and goodby knuckles.
