Default Enkei NT03+Ms + Brembos?

Attempted to install Enkei NT03s on my G35c w/ Brembos today. Apparently, the 18x9.5 +27 NT03s do not clear the front brakes. However, the 18x10.5 +30 rears do fit. From my research, others have installed the same rims, but have not indicated whether spacers were needed. Can anyone with firsthand experience please comment on this? According to the shop (I was not allowed into the work area), the wheels just b*a*r*e*l*y fit. My uneducated guess is that a 5mm spacer would work. I assume that this would not require longer studs. Thanks for any help you can provide.

P.S. The vendor that sold the set guaranteed the fitment.

Regards,
Steven

Barely fit , then no spacers are needed.

the fronts will not fit the brembo calipers without a spacer - as I recall from Evo fitments, a 10mm was required up front to make it work. The reason is that these are technically rear wheels, so the pad height is designed around rear calipers

Like I told you on the phone, start off with a spacer first. Don't risk running it without one, remember that calipers expand when they're heated up. You might also reconsider that tire size in the front.

All, thanks for the help. I was told that when Enkei originally designed the 18x9.5 size, it was intended to fit the front Brembos. But in their haste to offer an aggressive fitment, neglected to take that into consideration. Anyway, they say 7mm of clearance is needed. BTW, the 18x8.5 supposedly clears the Brembos (as I guess these were properly designed as front wheels).

Andy, thanks for your advice; ordered the 10mm spacers today.

Regards,
Steven
