Default Why Are My Tires Worn!!

2 months ago I put on a set of Axis Shine. 20x10 in the rear with a 275 tire. Car is at stock height. The tires were worn a bit on the inner 2 inches b/c previous owner had a drop. As said Im on stock height and now only after driving about 3000 miles the belt is showing thru on the inner part of tire!! The rest of the tire is brand new, Im so pissed! Would alignment be the problem? Ive read and been told by others theres no way this should be rubbing on stock height!

if went from a drop back to stock height without an alignment, of course that is probably the issue. Most likely the toe is off and the wheels are scrubbing themselves down on the pavement on every revolution. Take it to an alignment shop and get it resolved

Might also be too much negative camber.

Yeah, you'll need to get it aligned. If you went back to stock without an alignment, chances are it's because of that.

Guys my car was never dropped. The previous owner of the WHEELS had his car dropped so the tires were sold to me with some light wear already on the inner portion of tire. My car is stock height, always has been.
