Default I need someone to confirm Kics Spacers:

What does your adapter look like that you use to secure the spacer to the hub studs?

is it four pronged? the little cone shaped bolts is what I am talking about.

I am trying to see if these are universal or unique to each set. I sold a set and someone stole the key out of the package.

thanks!

Not sure if the Kics are universal to every wheel. I had shave off 1/4 inch of my stock studs in order for my spacer to sit flush with the wheel hub.

The "tool" youre talking about is just a spark plug installer.

nvm ... well I guess mine didn't come with the 4 prong key.

yeah I just realized that. I have a set of kics on my rear wheels, but I didn't need a special 4 prong tool to tighten them.

Same type of rounded lug nut. I just used and ratchet wrench to tighten them.

edit: when I mean "rounded", I mean tapered one side and hexagonal on the other.

FWIW - each set I got, had 2 of those adapters....so plenty of ppl should have at least an extra laying around.

20mm spacers doesn't use the 4 prong adapter...it has some other hex shaped adapter to mount the nuts.

I'll try to get a pic of the adaptor when i get home.

i used to sell kics spacers alot and isntalled alot

10-15mm use the 4 prong spacer
that 4 prongs are the same between kits

the 20-30mm use the socket style piece.

Now depending on the back of the wheel' if you have a cavity you may not need to shave the studs.
if you have no hole or are running a 15mm or less spacer you may need to hack the lugs slightly

yeah and when I shipped the bolt tool the package arrived ripped open and no tool so I was trying to help out bryce while I file a claim with Fedex.

spacers are useless if you can't attach them

If anyone has an extra key I can borrow or have, please PM me, thanks!
