just curious..
all the J-spec 350Zs in the hyper rev magazine are running
245/35/19 front on a 19x9.5
but
275/30/19 on a 19x10.5 on the rear..
curious on why..
cuz the 275/35/19 are on national back order, but 275/30 is not...

Thinner (30 is a thinner sidewall than 35). I read of some people running the 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 and there was too much (or not enough?) of a variation of tire size between front and rear and it caused problems with the VDC.
After installing the S-tunes, it seems the speed sensors are on the front wheels, so it should not effect the speedo, I think.

275/35/19 is the closest size to stock overall diameter.
So when you upsize from 17 or 18, a 275/30/19 is too thin of a sidewall... so your rims are more vulnerable, and the speedo/etc are off...
Hence I been waiting 3 god damn months for a set of 35's in the rear =(

If you are going to a 275 30 19 on the back you need to go with a 235 35 19 on the front to keep it in spec.

I've been running the 275/30/19 for a while now with no problem. Then again I don't have to worry about VDC or TCS either. Sure it's a bit off-spec but I would still be running around on the stock 17"s right now if I waited for a set of 275/35s to show up.

Dont all z's come with vdc and tcs?
Not all Z's come with VDC and TC. Also, for you guys running off-spec wheel diameters, might this also throw off the ABS sensors? TC and VDC are one thing, but who wants their ABS not functioning properly? You may be getting sub-standard ABS modulation with this?

I do not have a camber kit. had my Z aligned and the camber was corrected as much as possible in the rear. i feel the negative camber present is negligable. if i notice any considerable wear, i will purchase a kit.
(maybe they'll be some cheaper by then!)
