Just for reference...thanks for the info. I just put on my spacers last night. Hope I don't have to face this situation, although it seems like an easy fix.

ya, i think in general spacers are a slight maintenance item you add to your car....if you install them one time and dont mess with them, youwill be fine...

i track my car quite often, so ive had to run into this.....

other than that you should be good...

How about for a 30mm spacer?

Just snapped one while removing my wheels for a dyno...

The dorman part number is 620-404 and can be had at rock auto for about half the price

so for a 20mm spacer with busted studs should i go for 41mm (assuming 25mm kics spacer uses 46mm stud)

I would just measure the old one from the spacer then go from there.

My sincerest apologies for bumping an old thread, but no other thread on the Internet contains as much valuable information as this one and I have a very specific question.

The knurl diameter of the Project Kics studs is 14mm. The knurl diameter of the studs listed in the OP are 14.35mm. I'm worried about shattering the spacer if I press in the 14.35mm knurl stud and I'm having ZERO luck locating an M12x1.25 stud with a knurl diameter of 14mm.

Will pressing the 14.35mm knurl stud break the spacer? Does anyone have a source on an M12x1.25 14mm knurl diameter stud? Does anyone have the contact information for Project Kics so that I can order a replacement stud from them directly?

I went ahead and took the risk of exploding the spacer and had the 14.35 mm knurl diameter studs pressed in. Surprisingly, they fit. With the knurls lined up, the stud simply scrapped/pushed out some excess aluminum from the spacer, thus enlarging the spacer's knurl diameter. The excess aluminum is extremely minimal since .035mm is a little over 1/100th of an inch.
