Tire help Falkin vs Nitto
Looknig for opinions from users on here whom own either tire. I just bought Rota p45r 18' and now need tires.Im looking to buy from discounttire.com since it seems cheapest unless anyone else has a better site. Anyhoot install will cost 175 bucks from shop to take sensor off my own rims and add to new ones and mount tires to rims. I DO NOT RACE just looking for a good daily tire with low road noise. Tires im debating between are. Sizes are 245/40/18 and 275/40/18. Help please ive read so many mixed reviews on falkin i can decide if i should just vouch the money now and get nitto. Thanks
Falkin FK 452 price 589 shipped

I have the Falken 452s on my car, they are descent for the money. Lots of grip, silent at all speeds and the tread and sidewalls are good looking. I had Toyo T1R's and Bridgestone S0-3's as well. I can't say I really can tell the difference between any of the three tires. Based on that link posted above, nitto seem to be pretty ****...
I wouldn't recommend either, but STAY AWAY FROM Nitto 555s AT ALL COST! Worst Ultraperformance Summer tires ever made.
Try Toyo T1R; grips better than those two(but still mediocore at best) and is very quiet.

I've got Falken 452's up front. I bought them just because I needed a temporary set for the front so I could get a full set after I burned through the rears. If it wasn't for them being cheap, I would be a lot harder on them, but even still if I'm going to be honest, I don't like them.
They aren't especially loud or anything, but I don't like their grip characteristics and I wouldn't buy them again. I've only had them on about 6,000 miles (est) and tire wear seems to be pretty good, even considering my neg. camber in the front. IMO they belong on more VIP type cars with sport-luxury in mind, which is actually what they are marketed as anyways.
Depending on the exact size you need or desire, there are probably better alternatives at or around the same cost, but I would suggest going to Tirerack.com and checking your options for the sizes you need and reading reviews to see what you think would work best for your needs as ultimately it's your car and everyone has different needs when it comes to tires. Personally, even though I don't track my car or drive especially hard, I'd rather give up some tire life for more grip.
