Default argg!! Wheel weight question (lead weights)

Im talking about the weights they use to Balance...

I bought a set of LMGT4's with tires pre mounted/balanced.

Anyway opened up the rims today and they are gorgeous...but one of the weights was loose.

2 of the wheels have (4) Lead square weights in them.

1 of the wheels has (5) lead square weights

1 of the wheels has (1) BIGGER lead square

and then a Square bar of (4) weights fell out of the box...

No clue where this was mounted on the rim.

So what do I have to do to have this corrected? bring it in and rebalance?

If you are uncertain about balance, have them balanced before installing.

I agree with David. You should have the wheels re-balanced if there is any question (and… weights that are “falling-off” is an indication that it is certainly wise to check the individual wheel/tire balancing).

BTW: Lead weights are now environment-unfriendly.

Ok thanks,

Is it a problem if I put the weights into my mouth to clean them off after they fell off?
