i went to the dealership to reset the tpms. they told me that since my wheels were so "big" that the tpms might not work, the light it still on after they reset it. is this true?
Size doesn't matter in this case. Assuming that the sensors are properly mounted in the wheels and are not damaged, there's no reason that they shouldn't work.
Aren't the TPMS radio-transmitters? If they are, why on Earth would the size of the wheels matter? I'm pretty sure the dealership is full of crappage. Not like that ever happens.
they are full of ****. all it is a hand held machine they walk to each tire hold it around the valve stem area till it honks at you walk around to each tire till it honks 2 times to reset it
