No, it wont. You're going to have to buy a 17" spare wheel/tire.

Brembo owners chime in!

Edit: It kinda fits, but it dosen't fit snug in the rear wheels...is this right?

I just did the Brembo swap, and I was nervous about going on a road trip from what i have read on here about the spare not fitting. I tried mine for ***** and giggles and it fit front and back.

I have an 06.5 base model. So I can only assume that nissan figured it was cheaper to just make 1 spare fit all then two different size spares.

If you can find one for sale that would be your best bet. I have called my local dealers, and all they can get are the rims for around $250, then you still have to get a tire mounted to it.

Default Spare tire question

Hello everyone, I have a question about spare tires. I purchased an 03 Track model that did not come with the spare tire or tool kit. I've been scanning Ebay and I see that there are 16's and 17's out there. I also have read that there is a specific version of the spare tire that fits the Track model with the Brembo brakes. Is there a specific spare for the Track model or will any 17 inch spare fit on the car, I assume the 16 inch wont fit.

TIA

You need the track model spare to clear your brakes. I don't know what size it is . I went with the 370Z spare to clear my aftermarket BBK.

The spare wheel-tire is a bit unusual because of diameter and offset.

You can buy a 17-inch spare but it will not fit in the spare location.

For part numbers visit Courtesy Nissan.

I replaced my 16" with the 17" after the Brembo upgrade. Everything fit fine.

I just picked up a 370Z Sport spare tire to clear my BBK. The way it looks it should clear lots of caliper sizes. And it looks good too. Lol. It fits in the spare location in the trunk perfectly. The only issue is the white cup that holds it down to the floor. The bolt is too short. I just got this 2 days ago so I am still trying to figure out how to deal with that,
possibly welding a piece of bolt to it since the existing bolt is a PITA to get out.

Thanks for the link to the thread. I picked up a spare from a G37, the rim is 18x4 which I hope is the correct one. I'm assuming that the BBK calipers are wider and stick out more than the OEM Brembo's? If that is the case then I won't worry about test fitting it when it arrives.

You don't need to test fit. I test fitted mine yesterday. That thing will clear just about any caliper on the market now for the Z. I am currently trying out a way to deal with the holding screw cup that I talked about. Will post pics of what I am doing when done. Also the sidewall says to inflate to 60 PSI. I decided to inflate to 50 PSI but after puting it on I realized it needed more air so stay with the 60 PSI

Hong Kong is a bit too far from our junk yards. Check eBay. Actually I got mine from ebay.
