NIsmo GT Rays +20mm all around
Jason,
Here is the current set up i have with the use of Ichiba VerII spacers +20mm all around. I achieved a 'mild flush' which i really like. Lowered on Tokico D-specs, 1 inch all around, NIsmo GT rays 18x9 +10F, 19x10 +10R, tires are 245/40/18F, 275/35/19R. Rear fenders are rolled and No Rubbing issues whatsoever. Do i need an alignment??

has anyone installed 30mm front/35mm rear? I know the ideal set up is 25/30, but I want to see if anyone has done 30/35 on stock height/stock wheels.
Also, if I were to do this myself, what kinds of tools would I need? Do i need to buy a torque wrench? And what specs do I torque my spacer bolts/stock lug nuts to? Thanks.

Ideal in my honest opinion on stock wheels is 25/30.......see the pics on the first page.
but if your insistent....based on spacers with studs built in....

torque wrench - check your manual for torque spec and the spacers you buy should list a spec.
10mm socket/ratchet to remove the 10mm bolt at front hub.
etc..etc...

i doubt it......i wouldnt....if your alignment was done with all things considered - in the middle of the range, 10mm spacers should still allow you to be within spec...

Jason, This thread is great I have one quick question.
I have Rota wheels. They do have extra holes for the spacers.. BUT.. I have the project kics 10mmF and 15mm R... when installing them and putting your wheels.. the STOCK studs dont fit on the wholes of the wheels.. its very close.. but I cant push the wheels due to them..
On your pictures you mentioned that you CUT the stock studs.. but you left 3 mm.. Iam just wondering.. could I cut down "flush " on the stock studs.
PS. if your wonderings.. I have the NEW versions of the project kics.. the bolts are a little different.. its confusing but I can take a pic if you like.

^ take pics.........its hard to gather exactly what you mean because typically with rota's and the extra holes the wheels have, everything should work no problem.......
The oem studs are 25mm long, so if you have 10mm Project kic spacers then you would have about 15mm of oem stud protrusion PAST the spacer and those should line up with the gaps and holes so that the wheels can be mounted/installed with no interference....

Also, if your gonna do this,
I suggest, installing a sacrificial nut all the way to the hub. Install another sacrificial nut at the point of cutting. have washers in between so that the nut doesn't move and cut away.
Use the closet (2nd) nut as a guide to cut with out removing more than needed. cut using a air tool die grinder. after cutting, slowing back out the two nuts one at a time and the "backing out" process should clean up any grinding/cutting imperfections on the just cut threads.
I would also like to add - file the end at an angle to clean up the first few threads for proper threading and engagement.......

I just threw my spacers on there the other day with my new tires. Looks great...I have the Ichiba Hub centrics, 20mm front 25mm rear. Car is lowered by the Eibach Sportlines springs, and thankfully I do not rub. My camber and tire size is just enough to give me the flush look and not rub without rolling my fender.
My tire sizes are 235/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear, my camber is something like -1.4 front and -1.8 rear (if I remember). I would take pics, but my car is absolutly filthy b/c of the snow melting and it's too cold still to wash.

i got a question guys
im hairs away from being flush in the front and i bought some 5 mm spacers
Is it a bad idea to put those on with the stock lug nuts?
i just dont wanna take a sharp turn and snap, there goes my VS-KF

and notice their comment as well:
Extended lug studs are required with the 10, 15, and 20 mm spacers. Always check to make sure the lug nut has sufficient thread available on the stud to secure it.

Great thread, just read all 12 pages. I have two questions that maybe one of you could answer. I am wanting to run spacers on my NISMO. I have no plans on getting a drop or messing with the suspension and I really don't want to roll the fenders also, I am currently running 275/35-19s on the rear. With that said:
1) Is 25mm/30mm combo going to be too agressive?
2) If I need to go 20mm/25m, does anyone know if stock NISMO wheels have the gaps?
I am currently deployed so I can't look myself, just stocking up on parts for when I get home. Thanks!

as for a definite answer, hopefully someone else with nismo 19's will chime in,but i wouldn't be too worried about running 20/25 combo.
