I have project kic's with built in studs - never owned Ichiba V2 even thought they are similar.
THe correct answer for you is to: Contact Ichiba, email, call, etc and get a confirmation.
if your interested:
The project kic's manual said to torque down to 75-85 ft-lb.
to me that's a crazy range, and i know the stock studs can handle at least 90.
I torque mine to 85 ft-lbs and remove them and reinstall them very often with drifting.
if i were to daily drive on them only, i would say after a week or say 200 miles, i would remove the wheels and check the torques on the spacer lug nuts as a precaution.

Jason, I just wanted to say, thank you for this thread. It helped me out alot and without you well... my offsets would be weaksauce.
18x10.5 +15 all around
+15 mm kics spacer in the rear.
neg 4 camber in the rear.
I'm actually dissapointed with how little it sticks out, so I may decide to step up to +25 in the rear and move the +15 to the front.
lmk what you guys think i should do.

thanks bro, couldnt have done it without ya!
IF you decide to upgrade, my buddy mike (the photographer, drove the tacoma) is getting a Z in about 2 weeks probably. We're gonna buy some te37's for him tomorrow actually, but they're +22, so i know he def wants +10mm spacers all around, but maybe he might take the 15 for a good price so just keep me updated!

Just a suggestion, but if you want more poke without having to spend on spacers you might try dialing out some of that uber JDM -4 camber

haha no way jose, I love the cambered look. I just got another alignment yesterday and im now sitting at F: -2.5, R: -4.4. Right now I am contemplating running stock rear tires and stretching them over my wheels on all 4 corners that way i can stick em out more while keeping the same camber.

I'm about to purchase 10MM project kics spacers. They do not make any hub-centric rings for them.
Is this a cause for concern? They will not be driven hard, though I'd like to have the peace of mind that they won't fail if I do.
For track, I would just remove them since I will purchase a set of dedicated track wheels.

If you want them to stick out more, lessen the negative camber in the rear.

OK, so I want spacers for some volks i got but I wanted to know if the spacers would work. I know I want Ichiba Version 2 and that the wheels have to have the gaps to work but I guess the volks are universal cuz of the mounting holes? heres a picture but would Ichiba Version 2 spacers work?
specs:
front: 18x8.5 +30
rear: 18x9.5 +?(stickers are missing)
Im guessing the rears are also +30 so im thinking about getting 15 or 20mm for the rear. I figured get 15mm first to try on the rear and if I want it to stick further out, then put those in front and get 20mm for the rear. Any advise?

The other holes "should" allow for the oem studs poking through the thickness of the Version 2 spacers (if less than a 25mm spacer-which i figured you would since your planning on getting 15-20mm spacers, which leaves either 10 or 5 mm of oem stud protrusion) to poke through the wheels other pattern/open holes ....
overall, best thing for you to do is go physically mount them and check..or get a spacer with studs and see if the two sets of holes line up.......
