Default SSR Type F

Ran a search and found no info.

Any forum members have these on their Z? Are you happy with them?

I'm playing around with the idea of new wheels and these have caught my eye.

Would appreciate any feedback, thanks.

Those are very nice wheels. Just make sure you order good widths/offsets.

I was looking at these wheels myself. Where did you get the 2700 price from?

I really like those wheels. Star Bright Silver would look great on black. I'll bet they are light weight too. I have a set of SSR Competitions that I use as winter wheels, and my only issue is that the clear coat on the lip portion tends to stain and chip easily, but again that's with winter driving and all the road salt and crap that goes with it.

These wheels remind me of Volk CE28n's, but with 2 more spokes. Looks nice!

EDIT:
Based on this website ( http://www.nengun.com/tanabe/ssr-type-f ) it looks like they offer a 19x10.5 +15 and 19x9.5 +22 ... not bad! I'm actually surprised to see SSR provide such low offsets.

18's are definitely the way to go with those wheels. 18x9.5+12, 18x11+21. Do it.

19s in 9.5 +22 and 10.5 +15.

Sorry I may have gotten the prices wrong. I was quoted a bunch of prices from different vendors and this is the one that stood out. But now that I look at my chicken scratch I may have written a 7 instead of a 9. I am going to clear it up and make sure. Also want to make sure if I did get the price right and they only have one set left I ****** 'em before anyone else does

I'll fill you in once i touch base with them tomorrow.

What finish did you have on yours?

Yeah I was also looking at Volk CE28n's. These gave me the same warm fuzzies. The price is a little more easy to take in, even if i did mess up writing them down compared to the Volks also. Not that i wouldn't mind a set of Volks on my ride but with all the other work I'm doing I'd put myself way above my project budget.

If i do this I'm most likely going to go with the 19s stated above.

Yeah they do. I searched and took a look at the Advan's line even got some quotes. Couldn't find any in all flat black or mat black though.

Hope this pic helps:

I've seen the type F's in gold on a black Z at SEMA. I'll see if I can find that pic so I can post it up.

I too want these wheels, possibly 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Not too sure on offsets yet. I'm not running turbo so I don't think I need the extra inch in width. Although it will look better

It's a good thing I can get SSR wheels direct

Edit: Not my Z

^^ I think that looks great! It gives the appearance of light-weightedness.
