Should have gone with 18x10 all around and ran 275's up front and 295's in back, that will be my next tire set up on the same 521's but 18x10 all around

Finished 2nd out of 130 behind many time national champ and by far the fastest ASP car in the country at the event, though. Did beat out the current ASP champ, Courtney Cormier. Oh yeah, it pertains to this thread.....12" wide wheel on front with a 335 A6 and 13" wide wheel with 345's on back...

I <3 C6 Z06s! I want one

I'm actually very happy with the staggered setup... why do you want 18x10 all around?

HA! Until you get those 315s up front, 305s are the champs.

Thinking of converting from stretched to meat. Thinking of getting some Varrstoens for the time being.

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

I have a pair of 275/35/19s so I was thinking I could put these on the front and maybe a 305 in the rear with maybe a slight pull? What do you guys think? Thanks for the help!

Hey Jonny,
I'll let some others chime in also, but I believe the 275/35/19 might be a little tall for the fronts.
I have 275/30/19's and they are perfect.

You'd need a good pull. VDC will not like 275/35 front with 305/30 rear though.

This is my fav place to play with tire sizes.. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

if you get the warning message! Dont buy the tire size difference. lol

Start with the tire you want on the front or the rear, doesnt really matter. Then plug in the other. If the outside diameter is close enough, VDC will live and be happy.

Basically you can go smaller or larger than stock without too much dramma, its just the two tires (front and back) must travel within a similar speed range or VDC thinks your acting dumb in your car. (I never drive with VDC on anyways because sideways is where i live)

Exactly what that range is that VDC will be happy....? I dont know. But so far with this link I have been able to make some good decisions on tires.

Disclaimer...LMAO! As always, my post is based on my personal experiences, the fact that I can tear down and rebuild an F111 and F15 from the frame up has no merrit on tire calculations on a G35/350zzzzz. LOL

the link also gives you rim widths, but I have been able to push their recommendations far grater than what they say.

Like I can get a 295/30/19 on a 10 inch rim, the recommend 10.5-11

That's a good site, but I just use good ole' mathematics to calculate each tire's height. If the front is taller than the rear, that combo is no good!

Yes, 295 on 10" is fine, but the max in my book. I have seen 315 on 10.5 without issue as well.

running 305 on a 10.5 and my installer now charges me extra because he always chews up those plastic covers that are used to protect the rims. I think if I show up with 315s he'll probably yell at me! LOL

sold the TSWs, going back to 19inch 370z rims for my G, BEFORE I go crazy pull fender flare 345s soon, maybe Christmas.

Now that I have google I hardly think anymore, its pretty sad I know.

^ I do think however that running an 18inch tire not only gives you tons more for options, it also is the most comfortable sidewall tire to own.

LOL

I'll be joining the club soon! Getting a set of 07-08 Nismo rims soon and have a couple questions. Fronts won't as aggressive, he's throwing a set of 245/40/18 with the front rims, my main concern are the rears. I want to mount 305/30/19 on the rears, stock is 35 series but the tire calculators are recommending me to go 30 series to make up for the tallness. I am on stock height, OEM suspension, fenders aren't rolled nor pulled. My question is will I run into any fitment issues with this set up? Will I need spacers or roll the fenders or will it fit just right?
