ok guys, I've searched already but didn't come out much regarding to my question. if I put 245/40 all around on 18x10, would this setup be fine for daily drive? i know it's better to run wider tyres as 265 or 275, but just wondering 245 all around would ride ok
if you are not going to do something right, don't do it at all. 245 is way too small for a 18 x 10 wheel. it will be stupid streched and your ride would be like crap due to feeling every bump in the road plus risk damaging your wheel because of no sidewall.
but whatever, it's your car and your money to waste.

if you would have really searched you would have found that your front and rear tires need to maintain a certain ratio to keep the TCS/VDC computer happy, you would have also been linked to several calculators for tire size to help you figure out if your new setup would satisfy this ratio.

You don’t mention if your car has VDC. That’s important when deciding to go with an all-square setup. In fact, you should also be careful doing this if you only have a Z equipped with TCS.
245’s on 10” wheels will certainly be stretched, but it will probably work (you are ½” past the tire manufacturer’s specification).
If your car is VDC-equipped, I would go with 245/45-18” all-square instead of 245/40-18”. This setup looks better, and works better with VDC.
