any recommendations on rims?
i am trying to buy the rims but i dont know which are good.
i care less about the weight.. i want rims that look good with good lip.

any suggestions ?

i recommend you go look in the wheel and tire section and make your own decison what to do with your car. if you can't do that then leave them stock until you do

Exactly! if you cannot afford Volks or Works wheels you may want to go to another forum. The best thing you can do is search the galleries and forums here for pictures and general information. In addition, go to several other sites and forums, find a style you like and go with it. There are many styles that are very similar to a Volk or other expensive branded wheel, for much less.

 

Then work with $1,700. Figure $800 for tires leaves you with $900 for wheels. Or $225/wheel. So go shopping.

There are good deals on used wheels. Start reading in the tire/wheel forum, then look at The Tire Rack, see what you like, then start shopping.
